Happy Easter from everyone at MTB Windows & More!

We hope this time of renewal and rebirth is a special season for you, your family and your friends. For us, it is a time to reflect on a special blessing of knowing and understanding the ultimate sacrifice that God made when he sent “His only begotten son.”

Did You Know: Easter is a Christian holiday that celebrates the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead. In the Bible’s New Testament, the resurrection occurred three days after Jesus was crucified by the Romans and died in roughly 30 A.D. The Easter holiday concludes the “Passion of Christ,” a series of events and holidays that begins with Lent—a 40-day period of fasting, prayer and sacrifice—and ends with Holy Week, which includes Holy or Maundy Thursday (the celebration of Jesus’ Last Supper with his 12 Apostles); Good Friday (on which Jesus’ death is observed); and Easter Sunday, also known as Resurrection Sunday.

Food For Thought: Knowing that Judas would betray Him, Jesus still washed his feet in the Holy Week ceremony that was the example of humility in leadership and love toward those closest to Him.
